Delivery 


Parcel Delivery

All parcels will be delivered the next day by a UK national parcel shipping company. Delivery will occur between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Lead times may extend during busy periods.

Pallet Delivery

Goods shipped via pallet delivery companies are by their nature larger and heavier. It is important that suitable unloading equipment is made available. The normal shipping time is next day delivery. Delivery will occur between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.


Please note: to qualify for the 'next day delivery' service orders must be made before midday. Any order made after midday will be processed with the following days deliveries and therefore be delivered approximately two days after the order was placed. 


Specialist Vehicle/Customised Items:

Larger items, such as energy cabins, chip shifters or pellet stores will be delivered via a specialist vehicle. Customised items may also require a specialist vehicle delivery and will not qualify for the 'next day delivery' service. We will contact you with further information once an order has been processed, in terms of expected delivery times.
 

Before signing for any goods:

It is very important that you inspect the goods for any possible damage. Even if you suspect the goods might be slightly damaged, sign the consignment note as goods received damaged. If you do not do so it will not be possible for the goods to be replaced, as you will have confirmed that you received them in good condition.

All goods must be checked on arrival and delivery paperwork signed by a responsible person as appointed by the purchaser.
If a prior agreement has been made with the delivery company to leave the goods unsigned, this will be at the customer's risk.

Missed delivery: 

If the parcel delivery company attempts to deliver and unfortunately there is no one available to accept delivery, the parcel delivery company will leave a card indicating they have tried to deliver. It is your responsibility to arrange another delivery when it is more suitable.

In the event of a customer agreeing to a delivery and then not being at home during the agreed time period, a redelivery charge per pallet will be made.



Please note: some of our products are stored in separate locations so larger orders may arrive in separate deliveries at separate times.
 

Any delivery issues must be reported immediately to The Biomass Store. In the event of any dispute resulting in the goods being returned to The Biomass Store, payment will be refunded to the customer minus all charges.
